Stewardship

Stewardship is one of the most vital parts of being a Christian.  As such, we have been charged with the care and responsibility of managing and preserving all that God has entrusted to us.  This includes not only our money but our time and our talents.

Stewardship is synonymous with Discipleship and means that we not only are responsible for overseeing and protecting all that is worth caring for and preserving, we are also called to live in the way Christ teaches us.  At Trinity Presbyterian Church, this means we are to be good stewards of the gifts God has blessed us with financially, the time God has given to us to serve others, and the many talents and skills we blessed with to model the Kingdom of God here on earth.

Each year we ask our members to make a financial commitment to help fund the work that God has called us to. That work includes the ministry of Trinity Presbyterian Church as we gather to worship, learn, and serve, it also includes getting out into the community and being of service to our neighbors.

We also ask that they let us know where they would like to get involved in practicing their Christian discipleship by using their creativity, imagination, and love for God and neighbor. The best way we have finding out how folks would like to use their gifts is by having them complete a survey of all the different ways we do ministry inviting them to share all the ways they would like to engage in our shared ministry.
